Earlier this year, the Government of India (GOI) put a ban on the most popular Battle Royale game PUBG Mobile. Later, the listing was removed from Android from the Google Play Store, and the Apple app store as well. GOI also banned a bunch of other Chinese apps for security and privacy concerns. The reason for banning PUBG Mobile is solely due to the China-based Tencent developer.
While the game originally belongs to South Korea, the PUBG Mobile, in particular, is developed and managed by Tencent Gaming. After the ban, PUBG Corp. coon started on a Tencent exit strategy to relaunch the game in India. Fortunately, the developers have found a way and PUBG Mobile is relaunching as PUBG India only for the Indian market pretty soon.
In fact, as early as tomorrow or even before that. Pre-registration will also begin soon on Google Play Store or Apple App store. Through which they will be notified whenever the game will be available to download. Not to mention, you can still play the global version of PUBG Mobile on any Android smartphone. You can download the latest PUBG Mobile 1.1 APK here.
