The Samsung Experience 8.5 also remains on the device. The monthly security upgrade is rolling as OTA(over-the-air) update.

This update brings the firmware build numberย N950USQU2BQJA to the T-mobileย  Galaxy Note 8.ย  The update is based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It weighs around 377 MB. The security update can be installed by capturing the OTA. You can also directly download the firmware from Samsung firmware repository. We have mentioned the steps in detail later in this post.

  • Just go to your device Settings > About device > System updates
  • Run Check for Update
