The image given above flaunts the Galaxy Note 8, which is undoubtedly stunning and is similar to the Galaxy S8 in terms of looks. As of now, only the Midnight Black color is leaked, we are sure the other colors like the- Arctic Silver, and Orchid Grey would be revealed soon. Moreover, reports suggest that Note 8 will be unveiled at the Samsung’s unboxing event held on 23rd August 2017, which is this month. This also means you won’t have to wait too long to get your hand on with the device.

Starting from the top, the Note 8 will feature the same iris scanner as on the S8. If you take a closer look, the image reveals that the Note 8 also loaded with the similar infinity display with thin curved edge bezels. It also has three buttons, one for powering the device ON, other for volume up down and we are sure the third button is for launching the virtual assistant Bixby. Furthermore, the home button is also missing, this means it is embedded on the screen and the fingerprint scanner/sensor is at the back, just like the S8. Above all, we predict that the Galaxy Note 8 will come with a dual camera setup at the back to compete its rivals OnePlus, Huawei and Mi.

Specifications:

As of now, the official specifications are not yet known, however, these specifications are based on the leaks in past few months. As per the leaked image, the Note 8 will feature a 6.3-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 2160 x 4428 pixels. For US variants, the heart is supposed to be powered by the Snapdragon 835 SoC, whereas the Korean and Global variants may come with the home grown Exynos 8895 chipset. Previously, the Note 7 had 3500mAh battery, which means Note 8 might come with 4000mAh battery.

Moving on to memory, 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal with a choice of expansion up to 128GB is expected to be there for all variants. However, 8GB RAM and 128GB internal variants, expandable up to 256GB may come into play as limited edition. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Note 8 might pack a 12MP Dual rear camera and an 8MP front selfie shooter. Thus making it Samsung’s first smartphone ever to have a dual camera setup. The device will also run Android 7.1.1 Nougat powered by Samsung Experience 8 out of the box.
