Shortly following the Galaxy A5 and A7 2016 variants, Samsung is now releasing Nougat for its entry segment Galaxy A3 2016 against build number A310FXXU3CQE6. The build updates the device to Android 7.0 Nougat and mainly targets the European region.

With the initial update rolling out for Hungary and Germany, Samsung seems to be following its policy of phased rollouts in Europe and US, followed by other regions.

While the update may very well take over a month to reach users worldwide via OTA, there  is always an option of downloading your Galaxy firmware directly from Samsung servers. The firmware can be downloaded effortlessly and without any bandwidth restrictions using the SamFirm tool.

Although the current firmware is only limited to one build number (A310FXXU3CQE6), users interested in flashing the firmware can freely do so by following the link (via third-party sources) given down below:

The firmware update weighs in at just under 1GB and implements all Nougat features, including, but not limited to Multi-Window mode, improved Doze mode and notifications shade, UI tweaks, optimizations and much more.

Although flashing a firmware is a rather simple process, accidents do happen. In case you run into any issues, check how to install stock firmware on Galaxy A3 using Odin software and restore it back to stock.
