Download OnePlus 8 Pro’s latest OxygenOS 10.5.12 and 10.5.11 [EU] update

Updated: July 24, 2020. OTA downloads now available. OnePlus 8 Pro is now receiving a new major OTA update today with latest OxygenOS 10.5.12 globally. While the build number may be different for the North American and EU variants, the changelog remains the same. It features support for the upcoming OnePlus Buds which is going to launch alongside OnePlus Nord smartphone on July 21, 2020. The OTA also adds new clock styles. In order to access, go to Settings -> Customization -> Clock style.

Most importantly, the update features latest Android Security Patch from July 2020, updated GMS (Google Mobile Services) packages from May 2020. Fixed the ARCore failure. So now you can install OnePlus Nord’s AR app on OnePlus 8 Pro from the Play Store. That way, you can watch the OnePlus Nord launch in AR on your 8 series phones. The update also improves network performance.

The latest update comes with build numbers OxygenOS 10.5.12 for NA and IN variants. OxygenOS 10.5.11 for the EU variants. So download and install from below. The previous update for OnePlus 8 removed the X-Ray camera filter.However, you can also manually re-enable the color filter on OnePlus 8 Pro. Apart from that, the previous OTA features several bug fixes and stability improvements. So it is highly recommended that you get the latest OTA update.

Download OxygenOS 10.5.12 and 10.5.11 [EU] OTA update for OnePlus 8 Pro

Oxygen OS 10.5.12 is rolling out for OnePlus 8 Pro for the Global (North American) and Indian variants. As for the EU (European) variants, the new OTA comes as OOS 10.5.11. The update log remains the same. Full stock firmware downloads below.

You can download the OTA updates, by simply going to Settings app > System Updates > Check for OTA updates. It will automatically download and install the updates, if available.

If you don’t see any update there, you can check the software version of your OnePlus devices in Settings > About Phone and if we have the latest version available below, then download the full stock firmware zip or full ROM zip and install it via Local Upgrade method.

Local Upgrade: This requires the full stock firmware update zips. It is the easiest way to update any OnePlus device. You can switch between Open Beta firmware or Stable channel easily.
