The T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S6 has a new ROM available based on the final Android Nougat update (7.0) received by the device. The ROM also comes with a pre-installed Kernel which is compatible with Safety Net checks for all users interested in getting the most out of their aging device and using Samsung Pay.
The ROM is exclusively available for T-Mobile variant of the Galaxy S6 (SM-G920T) and is developed and maintained by XDA member The Sickness. The developer further mentions that this would be the last iteration he would work on and hence would not be adding support for other incremental updates.
Twisted ROM Features

Install Twisted ROM for T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S6 (SM-G920T)
Note: Kindly ensure that you are running the Nougat firmware for your device. It is important to run a Nougat based Bootloader/Modem before attempting to install this ROM. Failure to do so may result in a bricked device.

- Perform a Nandroid Backup of your current firmware
- Download Twisted ROM and place it in the root of your internal storage
- Reboot to recovery
- Install ROM
- (Optional) Flash SuperSU or Magisk
- Wipe Dalvik and Cache
- Reboot Device
The first boot has been reported to take considerable time and hence, users are requested to be patient. The device is not in a state of bootloop.
Furthermore, the developer has also promised more features to be added in the ROM at a later stage. The current build is in beta stage and should not have any major issues if you intend to use it as a daily driver. The Twisted-Kernel is also modified to pass all root checks and will also receive further updates and patches in time.
