The Android 7.1.2 Beta 2 is now rolling out for the Nexus 6P, 5X and the Google Pixel C at the moment. It brings the firmware build number NPG47I to the three devices. It will soon follow other Google devices like the Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel C, and Nexus Player. These devices have already received the Public Beta 1 that brought the Fingerprint Swipe Gesture and many other features.

The public beta 2 for the 7.1.2 Nougat brings several new improvements to the UI, navigation bar icons, a new Pixel launcher for the tablets such as Pixel C, and revamped Multitasking features. The easiest way to get the Android 7.1.2 Nougat Beta 2 OTA is to opt in for the Android Beta Program from Google. Once you opt in for the OTA, which weighs nearly 1.30 GB, your device will display an OTA notification. However, for rooted Nexus and Google Pixel devices with TWRP recovery setup, you can still download and flash the OTA zip via Flashfire app. Or simply grab the TWR flashable OTA from below. Download the OTA from Google’s servers from Settings>Software updates, and install it using the Flashfire app. Make sure to uncheck wipe box, ignore for fail from the Flashfire app. For this, your device needs to be decrypted, rooted, and a kernel like exkernel will also help.
