Sony started rolling out Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on Xperia devices using its signup program for the Beta testers and needed to install an Android application. However, later news went official and Sony started rolling out the new Android 6.0.1 OTA update to the premium Sony devices viz, Xperia Z2 (Tablet), Z3 and Z3 compact. The manufacturer has now confirmed the update to the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact with the firmware build number 23.5.A.0.570. It is being rolled out across the globe in waves. The update hits the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact for both LTE (SGP621, SGP641) and Wi-Fi (SGP611, SGP612) variants. Here we have the full firmware files for the regions Nordic which include Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and some other regions like Taiwan. The update comes with the latest February 2016 security patches from AOSP and holds the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow goodies such as app permissions, doze mode. It also brings some Sony stability improvements for greater battery life, enhanced home launcher and much more.
