Earlier this month Nvidia released the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OTA update for its Shield Tablet. However, due to WiFi bugs in the OTA, the manufacturer has to halt the update. Today the update links are live again and users have reported receiving it over the air. Here’s what Nvidia quotes: “We received reports of some users experiencing Wi-Fi functionality issues after applying Software Updates v1.1 (SHIELD tablet K1) and v4.0 (original SHIELD tablet). To avoid any potential issues, we suspended the OTA pending further testing. At this time, we’re confident we have corrected the problem and are releasing a new Software Update. ”

The OTA comes with version 4.0 and brings the latest Android version with it. You can wait for the update to hit your device or get it from the download section below. It incorporates all new Marshmallow features like Apps permission, now on tap, and more. Take a look at the full changelog from below. Members at XDA Developers forum have managed to capture the OTA.
