Original: The Nothing Phone 1 launched earlier last month and has gathered a lot of interest in the Android community. The phone has ever since received 2 OTA critical updates with a third major update available for download starting today. Nothing Phone 1 is just received a major firmware update with Nothing OS 1.1.3 with two new features, tons of camera app improvements, bug fixes, and performance improvements.

Nothing Phone users across the globe can now download a new OTA update with build Nothing OS 1.1.3 featuring some critical bug fixes related to charging performance and compatibility with 3rd party chargers.

New features include an option to turn on Google’s Adaptive Battery to intelligently optimize battery life. Redesigned fingerprint verification UI for 3rd party apps.

The camera got a huge upgrade. While using Glyph lighting, images are automatically adjusted to optimal color and brightness. Improved photo clarity when using the front camera. Faster Night Mode and HDR photo processing time. Richer color saturation when using the ultra-wide camera. Reduced noise and increased sharpness when using zoom. Added reminder to clean the camera lenses.

How to Change Region of Nothing Phone 1?

You can easily control the regional setting of your Phone(1) by going to your Shell terminal or Android emulator (e.g. Fuss) and executing the following command:

getprop ro.product.system.name

• This command will return “SpacewarEEA” if the device is delivered with European firmware.
• For International models, the result should be “Spacewar” only.
