Samsung One UI Watch

Samsung announced its brand new One UI Watch custom software for the next generation of Galaxy Watch devices. Samsung is ditching Tizen UI for Googleโ€™s Wear OS software. After almost a year of development, Samsung is finally ready for the One UI Watch public rollout. Starting today, users of Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic can register for the One UI Watch Beta program and download the OTA.

One UI Beta Program for the Galaxy smartphones isnโ€™t unheard of. However, a beta program for a smartwatch is something we have heard about for the first time. Starting today, users of Galaxy Watch 4 and the Watch 4 Classic can register for the One UI Watch Beta program using their smartphones.

Users in the United States and South Korea are reportedly receiving the One UI Watch Beta registration notice in the Samsung Members app. Once registered, you may be able to download the One UI Watch Beta OTA update by visiting settings > system updates.

While the actual rollout was supposed to be live on June 2, 2022, the registration is live starting today. This means the One UI Watch Beta OTA may be available for download today or as soon as June 2, 2022.

As for the features, One UI Watch is built on top of Googleโ€™s free and open-source Wear OS firmware for wearable devices, especially smartwatches. Samsung also unveiled some of the features of their new watch interface in a blog post.

Most importantly, One UI Watch will feature the Google Play Store so you can download any app directly on your Galaxy Watch including Spotify, YouTube Music, Google Maps, Messages, and the most recent Google Assistant.

How to Sign Up for Samsung One UI Watch Beta Program?

As always, the Samsung Members app will accept registrations for the One UI Watch Beta upgrade starting today. The Samsung Members app is pre-installed on all Galaxy smartphones. Simply launch the app on the linked device to Galaxy Watch 4.

One UI Watch Beta update eligible device includes the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. Within the following several days, the upgrade might be sent out to other areas, including China, Europe, India, and the United States.

  • Download or update the latest Samsung members app update from Play Store. Or download it from our Telegram Channel.
  • Launch the members app.
  • Sign in using your Samsung Account associated with your Galaxy Watch.
  • Head over to the notice section and you should see a new One UI Beta Program link.
  • Tap the notice and fill in the details.

  • Once registered, you can visit settings > system updates > download OTA updates to check for any updates.

Downloads will appear only when the One UI Watch Beta program is live.
