Genshin Impact 2.2 update is just around the corner. The official Twitter account of Genshin Impact just unveiled the release date of the Version 2.2 special event. The livestream is set for October 3, 2021, at 08:00 (UTC-4). The update is termed “Into the Perilous Labyrinth of Fog”. Genshin Impact 2.2 update will be available for download after October 3. Genshin Impact 2.2 Character Banner

Update: Genshin Impact version 2.2 will feature a Tartaglia and Hu tao rerun banner. New character include Thoma, a 4-star polearm bearer.

Original: According to rumors, we will see 4 characters for Genshin Impact 2.2 update throughout the month. Two character banners, which will be live for about half a month each. While we aren’t sure about the first character banner, but rumors suggest that it will be Aloy (possibly a 5 start character).

As per sources, Hu Tao (rerun) + Thoma (new 4 start character) and Fischl banner have a strong possibility of going live in the second half of the Genshin Impact 2.2 update. Stay tuned for the livestream as it will unveil everything.

Note that you can pre-download the Genshin Impact 2.2 update after October 3, 2021. However, the new content will be available in mid-October. The update is available for Android, Apple iOS, Microsoft Windows, PS4, and PS5.
