Latest YouTube Vanced 16.20.35 APK Download With Old Video Quality Selector

The Vanced developer team just dropped a huge update with the feature we have all be waiting for. The latest YouTube Vanced v16.20.35 brings back the old video quality selector menu! So download and install YouTube Vanced 16.20.35 APK onto any Android device to get the old video quality menu.

As you know, Google introduced a new YouTube mobile video quality selector in the latest update. Instead of directly showing the video resolution like 2160p, 1440p, 1080p, 720p, 480p, etc. The new video quality terminology has changed to something completely vague – Auto, Higher picture quality, and Data saver. It is only when you select Advanced, you get to see the numbers as listed above. This pissed off a lot of users; including MKBHD.

However, thanks to YouTube Vanced, it brings the old video quality selector back to life in the latest version 16.20.35. Now, when you tap on the three vertical dots, you will see the quality in resolution it is playing.

Note that This menu is set by default. However, if you want to change it for some reason, you can toggle it back to the new UI by visiting Vanced Settings > Video Settings. Note that, you will need to tap on your profile icon in the top right corer and go to settings in order to see the Vanced settings at the very bottom.

In addition to this, you can also get the new swipe gestures for brightness and volume by going to Vanced settings > Swipe controls. Checkout the full changelog below.

KNOWN ISSUES:
• casting to Chromecast still broken on nonroot due to microG, it will need to be patched upstream first. Switch to root version or use stock youtube for now (vanced does not block casting ads anyway)
• Swipe down to refresh (it’s a litho bug)
