Samsung Galaxy A50 Android 11

Update: Samsung Galaxy M51 is also receiving Android 11 update based on One UI 3.1. It features firmware build number M515FXXU2CUB7 with March 2021 security patch level.

Samsung is currently rolling out stable Android 11firmware update to a lot of its former Galaxy S-series, mid range A-series, and the budget M-Series devices as well based on One UI 3.0. Some of the former flagship phones like the Galaxy S20 series and the Galaxy Note 20 series are also receiving the newer One UI 3.1 firmware update. It is now time to focus on the non-flagships like the Galaxy A series. Here is the first stable Android 11 OTA update for the popular Galaxy A50 with One UI 3.0.

The Galaxy quite popular mid-range smartphone in Asian, African, and European countries. This is due to its stunning hardware and software specifications at budget pricing. The A50 launched with Android 10 out of the box. Today, Samsung just rolled out stable One UI 3.0 firmware update for the Galaxy A50 device starting in India.

Thanks to Yash on Twitter for first reporting stable One UI 3 firmware rollout for the M30s. It features all the Android 11 goodies along with the latest March 2021 security patch level. It also comes with most of the One UI 3.0 features from the Galaxy S20 series; with a exceptions such as Dex mode or even Wireless Dex.

The OTA is currently live in India with build number A505FDDU7CUBC. The update weighs about 2 GB in size. You can also download the OTA by visiting settings > system updates > download OTA update manually from your phone.
