OnePlus just rolled out a new OTA update based on Android 11 under its latest beta program. Open Beta 3 is now live for the entire OnePlus 7 series, which is a small OTA update fixing several critical bugs; leading to a near stable release. While the OTA may not be a huge upgrade, it addresses some critical issues like Netflix could not play HD videos, slow charging rate, and much more.

The latest OTA update for OnePlus 7 features optimization to the effect of unlocking animation. It also fixed the issue of slow charging rate in some cases, fixed the lagging issue when playing screen-recorded videos, fixed the small probability failure issue with the Double Tap to Wake, and most importantly, fixed the issue that Netflix could not play HD videos.

Open Beta 3 does not feature the latest Android security update. It may be included in the stable release. Looking at the changelog, it looks like this may very well be the final beta update. The March 2021 security patch may bring stable Oxygen OS 11 for the OnePlus 7 series. Let’s wait and see.
