Samsung successfully completed stable One UI 3.0 OTA update rollout for several S-series, A-series, and even the budget M-series Galaxy smartphones. The S10 and Note 10 series are among this list for the most parts. Today, the OEM started the latest One UI 3.1 OTA update rollout for Samsung Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+ starting with the Exynos variants. See whatโ€™s new and how to download One UI 3.1 from below,

Samsung launched the flagship Galaxy S21 featuring One UI 3.1 firmware with some exclusive functionalities. In a recent press release, the manufacturer promised One UI 3.1 for several previous generation smartphones including the Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+. Samsung sure did deliver on its promise today.

Samsung just rolled out One UI 3.1 firmware update based on Android 11 for the Galaxy S10 Exynos variant with the latest March 2021 security patch level. This new Android security patch comes to Samsung even before Google. The OTA is currently live in Switzerland, Europe for the Exynos variants. It features firmware build numbers G970FXXU9FUBD for the S10e (SM-G970F), G973FXXU9FUBD for the S10 (SM-G973F), and G975FXXU9FUBD for the S10+ (SM-G975F).

One UI 3.1 for Samsung Galaxy S10

Thanks to Reddit user u/C1920 for first reporting the update for his/herโ€™s Exynos S10 device in Switzerland. The update appears to be live in select region. It will soon get to other regions of Europe and Asia in the coming days.

One UI 3.1 features include improved Single Take for Samsung camera, object eraser for captured images, improved touch autofocus and autoexposure controller. Adding to the list is the new Multi Mic Recording feature while video recording under Pro Video mode. This enables you to simultaneously record audio through both your phone and a connected Bluetooth devices.

One of the most important features the new software update bring is support for eSIM functionality for select regions and the Galaxy S20 series. However, we arenโ€™t sure whether this is true for the Galaxy Note 10 series as well or not. In order to check eSIM, go to Settings > Network & Connections > SIM card manager. See if you have eSIM anywhere. Note that it also need network support to work.

Download One UI 3.1 for Samsung Galaxy S10/10+

The easiest way is to download One UI 3.1 for Galaxy S10 series is by visiting settings > system update > download updates manually. You can also download the full stock One UI 3.0 firmware updates using SamFirm tool or the Firja Tool and install via Odin Flashtool.

One UI 3.1 is currently only available in select countries like Switzerland, Europe for the Exynos Galaxy S10 Plus series. Eligible devices include! Devices with MULTI-CSC OXM! You can check this by dialing using your phone app at โ€“ *#1234#, and check if OXM is in the CSC-build.

You can use the SamFirm (Samsung Firmware Downloader) tool and the newly added Frija (also a Samsung Software Downloader) in order to download the full stock firmware directly from Samsung Severs.

  • First, download and extract the latest SamFirm tool or the Frija Samsung Firmware Downloader.
  • Go to About Phone under Settings on your S10 device and note down the model number like (SM-N973F) for S10.
  • Find the CSC code for your Galaxy S10 phone from here. Also known as a region or product code. In this case, we are using AUT for Switzerland and Android 11.
  • Input the model number and region code.
  • Select or check the Auto box.
  • Also, check decrypt automatically box.
  • Hit check updates option.
  • Once the details are shown, hit the download button.
