OnePlus 7 Series Gets Final Android 10 Update with January 2021 patch | Stable OxygenOS 11 coming soon…

Earlier this month, OnePlus rolled out the first Android 11-based update for the entire OnePlus 7 series with the first Open Beta build. The new firmware features Oxygen OS 11 with all of its goodies including Android 11. As OnePlus continues to get feedback from the beta program nearing stable release, here is the mandatory bi-monthly stable update for the OnePlus 7 series.

The latest Oxygen OS 1.03.8 OTA for OnePlus 7, 7 Pro, 7T, and 7T Pro is merely an Android security level bump to latest January 2021 patch. Here are all the firmware details:

• OxygenOS 10.3.8 [India or Global] and OxygenOS 10.0.11 [EU] for OnePlus 7
• OxygenOS 10.3.8 [India or Global] and OxygenOS 10.0.11 [EU] for the OnePlus 7 Pro
• OxygenOS 10.3.8 [India] and OOS 10.0.14 [Global] for OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro

OnePlus 7 series is awaiting the most anticipated stable Oxygen 11 update based on Android 11, which may come really soon. Before that, users who are not a part of the Android 11 beta program need a mandatory Android 10-based stable update. The new OTA features latest January 2021 Security Patch and newer GMS packages to August 2020.

OnePlus is currently rolling out Oxygen OS 10.3.8 global and Indian variants. The OTA will soon be available in EU regions with a broader rollout in a few days with build 10.0.11/14.

The OTA is around 202 MB in size. You can download the update by going to Settings -> System -> System Updates -> Check for Updates.

This may very well be the last Android 10 based OTA update for the OnePlus 7 series. As the beta program may conclude in a couple of months, if everything goes well the next update will be stable Oxygen OS 11.
