PUBG Corp to Release New Game Titles for Mobile, PC, and Console

PUBG has its name in every gaming record at present. Popularized in India it has become a huge brand and it has its name in bigwigs of gaming . Many youtubers emerged due to this and many competitions with money as a prize has also been held. Bluehole, which is a part of Krafton Inc. the maker of PUBG is constantly working on a cluster of new games based on the PUBG universe for PC, consoles and mobiles.

According to a Bloomberg report, a new ‘PUBG-related’ game could launch by this year i.e. ‘2021’ , along with a new Battle Royale game for smartphones. ‘Bloomberg’ held a meeting with Krafton CEO Chang-han Kim previous year as per report. The CEO disclosed the company’s plan of going public.

Apart from this, the CEO said that the company will be releasing a new Battle Royale game for smartphones the coming year. It will have a similar setting as the current PUBG Mobile game. Possibly, a PUBG Mobile 2.0 based on PUBG universe.

A PUBG based PC and console game is planned later this year in 2021, and a survival horror game which may launch in 2022. This outlines the PUBG universe three centuries into the future. Kim also disclosed plans of an animated show and web cartoon. Krafton is by and by planning to step into movies and drama.

Currently, Krafton is all set for an IPO planned later this year 2021. At present, the market worth of Krafton is reportedly just below Electronic Arts. The IPO will further elevate the market worth of the company. It could go down as one of the biggest IPO in South Korean history.
