Samsung Galaxy S10e/S10/S10+ receives stable One UI 3.0 update with Android 11

Samsung recently changed their software update policy from two years to three years of Android OS upgrade starting the former flagships Galaxy S10 and Note 10 series. The manufacturer delivered on its promise by starting a beta program for the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 a while back. Seems like the beta program is over and the devices are all set for a stable One UI 3.0 firmware update with Android 11.

As we reported earlier, the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ already received stable Android 11 update at the end of last month. Today, a new stable One UI 3.0 OTA popped up for the Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+ in Europe. The North American variants will soon receive it along with the variants in Asia. So stay tuned.

The OTA is currently live in Europe for the Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+, with Switzerland being the first country to receive it. It features a new firmware build number G970FXXU9ETLJ for the entry variant called Galaxy S10e. As for the regular Galaxy S10 and S10+, the firmware build numbers are G973FXXU9ETLJ and G975FXXU9ETLJ respectively.

Earlier last month, Samsung surprised users of Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite by rolling out a stable Android 11 OTA update across the globe. It was quite imminent that the Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+ will receive the same.

The OTA features December 2020 security patch level with all the Android 11 goodies. On top of that, you get Samsung’s One UI 3.0 skin with all the latest features and apps. Checkout all the One UI 3.0 features here.

Easiest way to download the One UI 3.0 firmware update is by visiting Settings -> Software update -> Download and install. Alternatively, you can download the full stock firmware using SamFirm or Frija tools and install using Odin FlashTool.
