Samsung One UI 3.0 based on Android 11

Google rolled out a stable Android 11 update back in September 2020 for the Pixel lineup. Soon, several third-party smartphone manufacturers stepped in and rolled out their own versions of Android 11 firmware. Some of these include Oxygen OS 11 by OnePlus, MIUI 12 by Xiaomi, Realme 2.0 by Realme, and ColorOS 11 by OPPO. Samsung also recently rolled out a One UI 3.0 beta update based on Android 11 for the Galaxy S20 series. Today, Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra devices join the Android 11 based One UI 3.0 beta program.

A community mod at the official Samsung forums posted about the OEM recruiting for One UI 3.0 beta testers for the newly launched Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra devices starting with the United States. However, the registration is only limited to devcies on T-Mobile and Sprint carriers. So basically the Snapdragon variants of the Note 20 series. The notice basically says, Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra users One UI 3 Beta with Android 11 coming soon. So users should start seeing the notice in their Samsung Members app anytime now.

How to apply for One UI 3.0 beta program?

There are two methods in enrolling into the One UI 3.0 beta program. One is the official Samsung members app where you should see a Notice for enrollment into the One UI 3.0 beta program. Once done, you will receive an OTA update.
