Mi Box S - Download and install latest Android 9 Pie OTA update

As we know, Xiaomi recently restarted Android 9 Pie beta program for the Mi Box S. While we already had a beta program for the Mi Box a few months ago, followed by a stable release as well, the final update was a disaster. It left many Mi Box S devices unusable. Now, in these times of quarantine and lock down happening almost everywhere, Xiaomi is desperately rolling out another Android 9 Pie OTA2 beta program for a better user experience. This time, it is quite stable and not much gimmicky. Here is the latest release from the manufacturer with Android 9 Pie OTA 2 Beta 3 update for the Mi Box S and build R2603.

As for the changelog listed below, the OTA2 beta 3 features only a single bug fix. The latest OTA update comes with a critical bug fix for CEC not working. So if you are facing any HDMI connectivity issues, this is the update for you. Hence the term HotFix update. It also features a new build number R2603 and the full OTA package weighs around 665 MB in size.
