Disney+ APK download

Ever since Disney+ started their latest streaming service, the entertainment company has gathered more than 10 million subscribers and over 5 million downloads on the Google Play Store alone. The stunning Disney+ app is available for download across various operating systems and platforms including Appleโ€™s iOS, Amazonโ€™s Fire TV Sticks, Windows Xbox One, Googleโ€™s Chromebooks or Chrome OS, and many more smart TVs out there. Not to forget the most popular mobile operating system Android. The Disney+ APK just updated to v1.1.4 with bug fixes and available for download here.

The stable version of Disney+ app for the Android platform launched with v1.1.3 earlier this week. While the app is quite stable for the first release for most of the devices, some users were facing issues with the app from day one. The major no sound or audio bug may have been addressed with the version 1.1.4. Some users couldnโ€™t get an audio output; mostly on their smart TVs and smart boxes. The videos would play without any audio output. Disney+ v1.1.4 APK may have fixed the no audio bug for some videos on their streaming service.

Moreover, users have been facing issues with the casting function. For some, Disney+ wonโ€™t cast video from smartphones to their TVs. Basically throwing the error chromecast unavailable on the device. The chromecast function has already been implemented with v1.1.3.

Disney+ did not release a detailed changelog for the update. So there is no way to know what new changes comes with v1.1.4; except for reading reviews on the Play Store. So if you are on the previous version, we recommend that you update your Disney+ app to latest version 1.1.4 from the APK files listed in the download section below.

I got the sound fix. When you go to play a program. Tap the screen and click the right top icon. Allows you to choose language and CC. Just chose on left side English (Audio Description) if available. Seems like you have to do this for each show you watch. Some don’t have, but Spanish sound works? Guess we need a fix, but this is a decent work around for now.

Unfortunate this update didn’t fix the sound issue. Better luck next time Disney. Or maybe stick with building theme parks not apps you suck at it.
