The Moto G6, G6 Plus, and the Moto G6 Play have already received Android 9 Pie OTA update across the globe including the a couple of months ago. The latest update for the Moto G6 phones features June 2019 Security Patch level with firmware build number PPP29.55.35-12 (for Moto G6 Play). It also comes with some of the most awaited features such as Digital Wellbeing support right under settings, and Motorolaโ€™s very own navigation gestures called One-Button Nav. The previous update, i.e. the Android 9 Pie for the Moto G6 phones, lacked these features upon release. The latest June 2019 fixes that.

You can find the new Digital Wellbeing option right under settings app. โ€œOne-Button Navโ€, on the other hand, is Motorolaโ€™s very own gesture navigation system. The new gestures are similar to the ones that comes with Moto G7 devices. You will find a single pill in the middle of the navigation bar. You can tap the pill to go home, do a short swipe up to enter multitasking, full swipe right to switch to the most recent app, and full swipe left to go back.
