Samsung launched several smartphones this year including the S-series flagships Galaxy S10/S10+/S10e, the Note-series flagships Galaxy Note 10/10+, and the Galaxy Fold. Now, the manufacturer is about to launch two new mid-range A-series smartphones called the Galaxy A30s and the Galaxy A50s. The original Galaxy A30 and A50 quickly became popular across the globe for their exceptional hardware for a very affordable price. However, some users may have been disappointed with the camera quality. This time, Samsung bumped up the cameras in the Galaxy A30s and A50s and gave them a fresh new look for all the photographers out there.

The Galaxy A30s features Exynos 7885 (14 nm) Octa-core SoC backed by a Mali-G71 GPU. The A30 comes in three storage options – 32GB or 3GB RAM, 64GB or 4GB RAM, and 128GB or 4GB RAM. Whereas, the Galaxy A50s features Exynos 9610 Octa chipset backed by a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The A50s comes in 2 storage options 64GB or 4GB RAM, and 128GB or 6GB RAM. Most importantly, the Galaxy A30s and Galaxy A50s both feature Android 9 Pie based on Samsung’s OneUI firmware update out of the box.

The main difference between the Galaxy A30s/A50s and the original Galaxy A30/A50 is the camera setup and the dynamic color options. The Galaxy A50s features a triple rear camera setup of one 48 MP, f/2.0 wide angle lens, one 8 MP, f/2.2, 13mm ultrawide lens, and a 5 MP, f/2.2 depth sensor; as opposed to the original A50 that came with a 25MP rear camera. The front camera for the A50s has also been upgraded to 32 MP, f/2.0, 25mm (wide angle). Similarly, the Galaxy A30s features a triple rear camera setup of one 25 MP, f/1.7 regular sensor, 8 MP, f/2.2, 13mm (ultrawide lens), and 5 MP, f/2.2, depth sensor; as opposed to a 16 MP in the original A30. It also features a 16 MP, f/2.0 selfie camera.

Both the Galaxy A30s and A50s come in some exciting body colors viz. Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White, Prism Crush Green, Prism Crush Violet2.
