Latest Oxygen OS 9.0.7/9.0.15 for OnePlus 6 and 6T OTA updates available for download

OnePlus is rolling out yet another OTA update for the OnePlus 6 and 6T with an Android security bump and some OOS 9.5 feature port. The latest OxygenOS 9.0.7 for OnePlus 6 and OxygenOS 9.0.15 for OnePlus 6T features the newest June 2019 Security Patch level. The update also brings some of the OnePlus 7 Pro features like screen recording to the OnePlus 6 series phones. You can directly access the screen recorder from the quick settings panel. Once you swipe down the notification panel twice, you will see a new option called Screen Recorder. So download and install latest Oxygen OS 9.0.7 and 9.0.15 OnePlus 6 and 6T right now.

The latest Oxygen OS update for OnePlus 6 also improved the screen rotation. Plus, good news for Denmark region as your phone will now support  VoLTE/VoWiFi for Telia Denmark. So if you are in Denmark, this is a must have update. Moreover, we already have most of the Oxygen OS 9.5 features exclusive to OnePlus 7 already available in the latest Open Betas for the OnePlus 6 series phones. This includes the official Digital Wellbeing (option directly under settings), Zen Mode, Fnatic (new gaming mode), and now the built-in screen recorder. So you can pretty much say OnePlus 6 will get all the Oxygen OS 9.5 features from the 7 Pro in the stable channel as well.

This is a very important security patch as reported by Google at its Android OS development site. The OTA weighs over 300 MB in size. So download the incremental OTA update from settings > system updates > check for OTA update or download the full stock firmware zips from below. If it doesn’t show up you can also try downloading the OTA update zip using a VPN app and changing the location of device to Germany or Canada and then check for updates.

Installation: In order to install, you can either use the full stock firmware zip and perform a Local upgrade. This will not remove data. It is also the easiest way to do so. Alternatively, for incremental OTA updates, flash it via stock recovery or ADB sideload method.
