Download official OnePlus 3 and 3T Community Beta 2 based on Android 9 Pie (Oxygen OS 9.0)

Earlier last month, OnePlus released official Android 9 Pie firmware update for OnePlus 3 and 3T based on Oxygen OS 9.0 via community beta builds. Although being the first build, the community beta has received quite some positive response from the users. Today, the manufacture has released yet another community beta 2 for the OnePlus 3 and 3T with a few bug fixes. It features 3 critical bug fixes like microphone not working when earphones are plugged in, crashing of the messaging app, and some UI fixes for the clock and stopwatch. So download and install OnePlus 3 and 3T official Oxygen OS 9.0 community beta based on Android 9 Pie.

With only 3 bug fixes, this only means one thing. The beta is quite promising and may soon see a bump into the Open Beta or the stable Oxygen OS 9.0 channel. You may soon expect a new Oxygen OS 9.0 build or Open Beta build for the OnePlus 3 and 3T via OTA update. Again, you won’t receive (Over-The-Air) OTA updates in community builds. You must manually flash the full firmware zips available in the downloads section below via Local Upgrade method or stock recovery method.

Oxygen OS 9.0 features brand new Android 9 Pie OS with latest April 2019 security patch level. New Do Not Disturb mode with adjustable settings, new gaming mode 3.0, new phone and camera apps. The update also features latest launcher app with brand new OnePlus gestures. It also includes all the Android Pie features such as Adaptive Battery, Adaptive Brightness, Slice, Actions, Advanced AutoFill, DNS Over TLS, Digital Wellbeing, and support for Google Camera 6.1 mod.
