OnePlus 6 OxygenOS 9.0.2 OTA update available for download

Its the first of November 2018 and we already have the stunning OnePlus 6 OTA update available for download. Yesterday, we received the Open Beta 6 update for the device with all the OnePlus 6T features ported to it. The latest OxygenOS 9.0.2 sports the new and improved navigation gestures, Nightscape mode for camera app, Studio Lighting mode for camera, November security patch, and much more. So download and install OxygenOS 9.0.2 for OnePlus 6.

OxygenOS 9.0.2 for the OnePlus 6 is now rolling out with all the OnePlus 6T features enabled for the phone. These new features include the latest Oxygen OS navigation gestures, an updated OnePlus Launcher v3.1 with new user interface (with Google quick search bar). Not to forget the latest November 2018 Android security patch.

Well, this doesn’t entirely include the complete changelog of the Open Beta 6 we saw yesterday. The Gallery app is still the same and still in beta state. The gesture navigation has been improved significantly with this update. You can checkout the video in our previous post.

The most anticipated features of the OnePlus 6T camera – the NightScape and Studio Lighting are now available for the OnePlus 6 as well. This new OTA update for NightScape feature is similar to the Google Pixel 3’s Night Sight. It will help you take bright shots at night using the manufacturer’s own algorithm.

Another significant change you will find with OOS 9.0.2 is the November 2018 Security Patch. The About Page UI in Settings has also improved. You can also see added support to launch any assistant applications simply by holding the power button for 0.5 seconds

Download Oxygen OS 9.0.2 for OnePlus 6

This is a huge OTA update for the stable channel that weighs around 354 Mb is size. It is features firmware build Oxygen OS 9.0.2 based on Android 9.0 Pie.

You can either use a VPN app, connect to Germany or Canada and download the OTA update zip. Or you can download the full stock firmware zip from below and do a Local Upgrade. This is also required is you are coming from a beta channel.
