AT&T Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Oreo Odin Firmware Files Download – G930AUCU4CRE4 and G935AUCU4CRE4

Following the official Android 8.0 update for the Verizon S7 devices, the Oreo update is now rolling out for the AT&T Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge phones as well. The OTA features the new firmware build numbers ( or Baseband versions) G930AUCU4CRE4 and G935AUCU4CRE4 for the AT&T S7 SM-G930A and AT&T S7 Edge SM-G935A respectively.

The OTA update is currently rolling out across the United States in phases. So go to Settings > About Device > Software updates, to check for the OTA update. The latest Oreo ROM for AT&T S7 is based on May 2018 Security Patch. It brings Samsung Experience 9.0 (SE 9.0); formerly known as TouchWiz. The Oreo OTA comes with features and apps such as:

• Background limits for better performance
• Password Autofill manager
• Picture-in-Picture mode
• App Notification Dots
• App Pair shortcut
• Dual Messenger
• High-contrast keyboard
• Dialer UI updates
• Samsung SmartThings app

However, not all the devices will receive the Oreo OTA at the same time. The build R16NW.G930AUCU4CRE4 and G930AUCU4CRE4 is now available for download as OTA. So you will first need to be on the G930AUCS4BRC1 Nougat firmware update and then flash the Oreo OTA update using stock recovery method.

How to update AT&T Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge to Android 8.0 Oreo?

• In order to update, make sure your AT&T S7 device is on the previous Nougat firmware update G930AUCS4BRC1.
