Developer rovo89 also states that the Xposed may also have brought MIUI ROM full compatibility. So now you can test Xposed 88 on almost any Android device running Nougat. He also stated about Xposed for Android 8.0 Oreo is under development and will be out in the near future.  like those found in various the custom ROM features on Android devices with having to install any custom OS.

Alternate way to setup Xposed is to simply install the official Magisk Xposed module for Nougat. It is by far the easiest way if your device has Magisk root. Simply open the Magisk app, browse through the modules and simply select the Xposed. Try it only on 5.1 Lollipop, Marshmallow, and Nougat.

How To Install Xposed V88.1 for Android 7.0/7.1 Nougat

You can download the latest Xposed V88.1 build from our the download section and flash it  either via TWRP or simply use the Magisk module. You will also need the latest Xposed Installer APK v3.1.2 to use all the various modules.

Here are some of the requirements for Xposed.
