And we expect soon to have an updated version of the same ROM with the present bugs fixed. Features Not Working /Under Development

It seems the only feature that is not working as of now is the Camera application. But the developers are hard on debugging the issue. So expect an update with the working version of Camera App soon.

Install Android 8.0 Oreo for Moto G5 Plus based on Lineage OS 15

Since this being the very first build, the latest LineageOS 15 files for Moto G5 Plus does not come as a TWRP flashable custom ROM. Lineage OS 15 comes in two files called boot image and system image. You will need to flash the boot and system images via Fastboot method

Latest Lineage OS 15 comes in two files.

• Boot image file
• System image file

You will have to flash both these files via the Fastboot method.

Pre-Requisites:-

• The firmware provided here-in is compatible only with Moto G5 Plus device only.
• The Bootloader has to be unlocked.
• The device should be rooted with TWRP.
• You will have to perform a full wipe that will include wiping out Cache, System and all data.

Transfer the files to phone storage where you can easily access them. Now let’s see the steps of installation.

Install: 8.0 Oreo for Moto G5 Plus based on Lineage OS 15

Step-1 Go through the requirements listed above. Download the Lineage OS 15 ROM from above and transfer the files to phone storage.

Step-2 Download Gapps for Oreo and also latest Magisk to root Oreo. Transfer them to phone storage as well.

Step-3 Reboot into TWRP recovery.

Step-4 Wipe the current system and data. Take a backup first.

Step-5 Flash Lineage OS 15 ROM, Gapps, and Magisk in order,.

Step-6 Reboot into system.
