OnePlus 5 OxygenOS 4.5.10 OTA update available for download

OnePlus 5 is now receiving a critical update with several bug fixes with a new OTA update of OxygenOS 4.5.10. You will see several camera improvements like noise reduction from photos, camera app stability, and 60 fps video noise reduction, and texture improvements. Shot on OnePlus now added country information. OnePlus 5 is now more compatible with the Jio SIM card functionality. While on call, it fixes accidental touches, and fixed display issues on calling screen. When it comes to the Oxygen OS firmware, you will see improvements coming to WiFi connectivity, display of new font, scrolling while on Play Music.

The previous OxygenOS 4.5.8 brought July 2017 Security Patch, introduction of a new OnePlus Slate font. Most importantly, the addition of EIS for 4K video recording. EIS was a game changing update for the OnePlus 5. It brought even more populartity to the device making it a true flagship.

How to update OnePlus 5 to Oxygen OS 4.5.10?

The installation procedure is simple. If you are on the previous OOS 4.5.8, then you will receive an OTA update notification from Settings > System Updates.

However, if it does not notify you, then grab the above OTA update and flash it via stock recovery. For that, reboot into stock recovery and select apply updates form phone storage. You can also choose to do ADB sideload method.

Alternatively, if your OnePlus 5 is rooted on latest Nougat firmware, you can simply download the full stock firmware file from above for Oxygen OS 4.5.10 and flash via TWRP.

You can also choose to do a Local Upgrade using the full firmware package.
