Latest August 2017 Security Update Patch for Nokia 3

This August we saw and posted about a lot of devices from various smartphone manufacturers receiving the OTA/firmware update. And amongst others, Nokia is a premier name in this list.Earlier in August Nokia dropped OTA updates for its devices Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. So following the suit now OTA update for Nokia 3 is now rolling. The update is being rolled out by  HMD the Finnish affiliate of Nokia for the Indian as well as other variants of Nokia 3.

This OTA update for Nokia 3 comes with latest security patch and some improvements in the device performance and stability. And unfortunately, this update is not based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. But Android 7.1.1 is expected to hit Nokia 3 by the end of this month. So users should keep an eye for the Nougat update as well.
