OnePlus 2 OTA for OxygenOS 3.6.0

OnePlus 2 is finally receiving a new and improved official Oxygen OS 3.6.0 firmware build. This OTA update brings June 2017 security updates, 4G VOLTE fix, updated timezone to GMT +3 for Turkey region, and more. The most important and critical bug fix comes to the 4G network where devices were unable to automatically register. This update is global. OOs 3.6.0 also fixes VOLTE for Indian users which we already received with the exclusive Oxygen OS 3.5.9. So if you are not facing any issues other than the VOLTE in India, you can simply settle for the OOS 3.5.9.

Though OnePlus 2 may never receive latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat, it shall certainly continue receiving the AOSP security patch updates such as this one. With the Oxygen OS 3.6.0 and June 1, 2017, security updates, the stock firmware is now even more secure. As the manufacturer has abandoned any further Android OS version updates, you can settle for the Lineage OS 14.1, Resurrection Remix 5.8.3, based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat.

Hi, I also have problems, I installed the vpn app and set it in Canada, but still once the OTA is downloaded the installation fail during reboot. My phone is encrypted and I have the OOS 3.5.6. Do I need to first install OOS 3.5.8 and then the 3.6.0? Do I need to reset my phone so it is not encrypted anymore? Thanks a lot!
