Xperia X Official Install July 2017 security patch based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat [34.3.A.0.206]

The major Japanese smartphone manufacturer has already released Android 7.1.1 Nougat, and June 2017 security updates for various Sony Mobile devices including Xperia Z5, Xperia X, Xpeira XA, XZ, and many more. Today, Sony released the latest July 2017 security updates for the same. This makes it the third manufacturer to release it after Samsung and Google. The new OTA update comes with a firmware build numberย 34.3.A.0.206 over the previousย 34.3.A.0.194 build for the Xperia X device.

As the update log isnโ€™t available, new features and bug fixes are not yet listed. however, it certainly brings some stability improvements. As for the July 2017 security bulletin, it consists of โ€˜194โ€™ vulnerability updates to the 7.1.1 Nougat from AOSP sources.

The update is rolling for the Xperia X single SIM variant with model number F5121. With time, other variants shall soon be able to enjoy the same including the dual SIM (F5122) variant. Xperia X Compact may soon benefit. ude all relevant FTF firmware links below in due course.
