Samsung Galaxy S8

Today is day one of March 2017 and the most trusted revealer, Evan Blass, has come up with yet another leak for the most awaited Samsung Galaxy S8. As the days for official unveiling are coming near, the internetย is flooded with a number of leaks. Apparently, most of those are just rumors but this one seems to be more legit to us. Evan has just tweeted through his official twitter accountย and revealed the front face of Galaxy S8. To get the first look, you can check the screenshot below. Moreover, the South Korean giant is all set to unveil its new flagship, the Galaxy S8 on March 29th, 2017 at Samsungโ€™s Unpacked event in NYC. However, if you need more confirmation, you can just check the image below- the screen displays the date March 29, I guess that would be enough for you to believe.samsung galaxy S8 evan blass

Few notable features from the leaked image:

Now, if you take close look at the image you will notice some interesting features like- the curved screen which looks stunning, the round corners which also looks brilliant. Furthermore, to mention you might have noticed the extra added hardware button on the left, which is placedย exactlyย below the volume rocker. However, we cannot confirm what exactly would be the button for. Perhaps, it could be a camera shortcut key, or a key to toggle Samsungโ€™s virtual assistant- Bixby, or it could possibly be a shortcut to set sound profiles like the one on iPhone and OnePlus devices.

Digging even deeper, if you take a look at the top of the display, you can notice an array of sensors, the front selfie shooter and an iris scanner like the one on the discontinued Note 7. Similarly, if you look down you can notice Samsung has skipped its traditional home button. If the leaks turn legit, it would be fair to expect that the flagship killer S8 might come in similar height as compared to its predecessorย Galaxy S7 without increasing the actual size for both S8 and S8 plus variants.

Moreover, Galaxy S8 will run on the latest and mighty Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and the Exynos 8895 chipset for other variants. Apparently, we were the first ones to notify that the Galaxy S8 shall receive the new Android 7.1.1 Nougat firmware update. The device also possesses IP68 protection for water and dust resistance and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Furthermore, The device is rumored to have 4GB and 6GB RAM variants with an option to choose from 32, 64, and 128 GB ROM storage.
