Download HTC Desire 816 Official Marshmallow Stock Android 6.0 Firmware

A lot of HTC Desire 816 users have reported about Android 6.0 Marshmallow update hitting their device. The update is running across the globe and if you have not received it yet, then may see it soon on your device. Desire 816 users from Europe and south Asia especially India, Indonesia, etc. have reported receiving the OTA update. It has been rolling out for HTC Desire Dual as well as Single SIM. Soon it will hit the Desire 816G as well. The firmware build number is 3.14.720.1. This is a surprise update from HTC as many of the manufacturer’s One series devices have not yet received the Marshmallow update yet. Although devices like HTC One M8, One M9 and the One A9 are already running Marshmallow OS, some variants like AT&T, Verizon, Sprint or T-Mobile are still on Lollipop. However, the update can be expected soon.

The full firmware  files or OTA update files for Marshmallow are not available just yet for the HTC Desire 816. We will be updating this post as we receive the OTA capture links or full firmware RUU files.
