Google has now updated the AOSP source with the latest Android 7.0 OS. Developers and contributors have already started porting this startling Nougat OS onto their own devices. We have already posted various AOSP ROM ports for the same in the previous tutorials. Here, we have listed the devices receiving the upcoming CyanogenMod 14 ROM. Of course, these CM 14 ROMS are unofficial as the official builds are not yet available. However here, we get to see the latest CM 14 UI and features before the actual launch. UPDATE: Download CyanogenMod 14 for OnePlus 3, 2, X, Android One Sprout 4, HTC one M8, Xiaomi Note 3, Sprout 8 and much more devices.

The CyanogenMod 14 ROM is now live for some of the Android devices. Cyanogen Inc. has not yet released the official CM 14 source code and they may be expected soon. Now as we know CyanogenMod builds are indeed based on the latest AOSP firmware. Based on the previous CM 13 release dates, the new ROM should not take more than a week or two from now. Luckily, we have the unofficial CM 14 builds ready for us. Courtesy of XDA member Sarthak, the first device to receive the CM 14 port is the OnePlus X. The ROM brings quite a few UI tweaks, some additional features, and functionalities as well. Not to forget the latest AOSP security patch level as well. Moreover, the first Android phones to receive the official CM 14 will be Nexus 6P/5X/5/9/7 and much more. So stay tuned as we will keep updating this post with support for more Android devices as they are available.

Google Apps (gapps) for CyanogenMod 14 Android 7.0

CyanogenMod 14 ROMS don’t come with google apps pre-installed. You will need to flash the gapps package externally. Simply download gapps from above and flash via TWRP after the CM 14 ROM. Sometimes the Gapps may cause booting issues. So you may boot the ROM first and later install gapps for Nougat.

  • CyanogenMod 14 Nougat compatible Google Apps:
    → Gapps for CM 14 → Download Link | for arm, arm64, x86 etc.

See: How to check if the device is arm, arm64, x86, etc?

Though a new SuperSU build may soon be released to root the official CM 14 ROM, it has been confirmed that the latest SuperSU 2.76 stable works with the Android 7.0 Nougat official and unofficial AOSP ROMS. You should flash the latest TWRP version to bypass forced encryption issues. Downloads below.

Even though the ROM has been tested by some users, you should still be cautious about it and sometimes come across major issues. This is an unofficial AOSP procedure/ROM.
