The Moto G4 is the hottest Smartphone in the Android community and has been in the news ever since its launch. The Moto G4 and some of its variants have been launched worldwide. They come with the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. As the latest official stock firmware from Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus, and the Moto G4 Play (Factory Images) are now available, developers and contributors have started porting these ROMs, apps, features onto other Motorola devices. Here we have some of the stock apps from the Moto G4 for your Android device. Apps like Camera, Weather, Command Center, Gallery, Lenovo File manager, Time, and even the boot logo has been ported. these apps come in the form of TWRP flashable zip files and Standalone APK files as well. However, you cannot just install the APK files. You will need to replace the stock apps from your device’s firmware with these new ones from Moto G4 and yes, set the right permissions like rw-r-r. In order to make the standalone apps work, you may also need to reboot. Earlier, we brought to you the stock S7 wallpapers, stock S7 Ringtones, UI tones, S7 Apps port & ROM port, full firmware and much more. And now, here we are with the Apps and features from the Moto G4, G4 Plus, and G4 Play firmware ready to be ported to other Motorola devices like the Moto G, Moto X, Moto E, and much more from the latest official Marshmallow firmware.

For TWRP flashable zip files, you will need to be rooted and TWRP installed. Fortunately, we already have the working root and TWRP procedure for the various Motorola devices on the official Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow firmware (search the website). [Remove any previous version of Motorola Camera and keep a backup to avoid conflicts. If you are on stock ROM, go to /system/priv-app/MotCamera, and replace it with the new one G4 app or rename MotCamera.apk to MotCamera.apk.bak and reboot. Also, Give permissions rw-r-r]
